Winner of this hackathon organized by QuickDo Canada, in 48 hours I developed a browser add-on to ensure the security of Internet users online. The addon in question blocks phishing sites referenced in several active forums (around 1 million phishing sites constantly updated) and is able to identify fake government or banking sites whose domain name is generally derived from the original domain (to the letter). Once these sites have been identified, the addon immediately stops the request and informs the user. The project has been named SecureMyNavigation and is the intellectual property of the Hackathon organizer.
